Description of Issues and Targets
As we hardly receive any applications for doctoral theses from female researchers we (the institute management, the personnel management, public relations, the equal opportunities officer and female doctoral candidates) have jointly designed a homepage which is aimed at specifically addressing women.

Description of Offer/ Action
On our website that is focused on doctorates we specifically want to address women. Our focus is on teamwork and innovation of mixed groups. Additionally, we are advertising with our offers for a reconciliation of work and private life. We are also emphasizing our opportunities for further training and career development. For a more personalized presentation of the website, we use quotations from female doctoral candidates (with photo).

Implementation Approach
In a first step, the editor who is responsible for the design of our websites drafted a homepage and put it up for discussion. The final homepage was then created from the contributions made by the institute management, the personnel management, public relations, the equal opportunities officer and female doctoral candidates.

Formal Requirements
Compliance with the CI-standards for online presence.

Results and Modes of Action
We have received applications for doctoral theses from female graduates who have referred to the special addressing of female researchers on our homepage.
